Family Holidays ............ (^_^)

Last February, 2010. My family and I went to Padang, Indonesia.We went there for 4 days 3 nights . It was my first trip to Indonesia and it was a totally awesome trip. The air was so much nicer, relaxing and the environment are more eco-friendly.Time at Padang was about an hour earlier.The earthquake at Padang really scared us and we almost cancelled our trip.After about a months of dilemma, whether to go or not to... Finally we made up our mind to continue with our plan..

DAY 1

My flight was from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Padang, Indonesia. We got to get up at 4 am..We should be there before 5 a.m..ngantok ohhh...we got to be at LCCT around 5 am...by 4.30 i called him to make sure that he already in his way to the airport..Ringgg...ringggg....'Abg dah bangun? Lin dah otw tau.' He replied...'Hurmmm Abg baru bangun....' (-_-") HEHEHE..... He's going to be late!! hahaha....aiyok...
bila i call dia baru bangun...dup dap..dup dap.. i was very worried...finally ..his arrived at 5.30 am. Its ok, cuma risau2 je...huu... Our flight duration to padang airport was about an hour...

At the LCCT--->










Having touched down at Minangkabau International airport,
we are greeted by the fellow from the Bukit Tinggi travel agency....The trip starts straight away from there. No time wasted.Our very first location we went to

---> Padang pretty beaches we stopped at here just for 15 -20 minutes.






A long the way dlm bus kat Padang...we can see all the 'kerosakan' because of an earthquake hit Padang --->

*Then from Padang we went to ----> Bukittinggi in West Sumatra..we continued our journey to Lembah Anai Air Mancur waterfalls. About 1 hour from the airport. The waterfall is just besides the main road, cool. The bus stopped about 20 minutes and I’ve taken a few snaps.The surroundings of the Anai Valley are magnificent. The dense tropical forest all around is most impressive and is a nature reserve. River Anai - crystal clear water. Just on the side of the road is a 40 m high waterfall.

Next stop, Bukit Tinggi town. Well, not yet lar..heehe After an hour or so, we stopped at a Boutique area of Bukit Tinggi town. This is the very first glimpse of what shopping heaven to come. Heaven to the all the aunties yang join our trip tuh...=p Heck my mom and sister were also influenced and bought a few items. Finished few a million rupiah @ RM2++ duit malaysia in 10 minutes time. There was a lot kind of wardrobes there and it was very cheap (considering for Malaysia status). There was “Baju Kebaya” meleleh air liur tgk...cantik2... ada gak “Baju Batek”, “Kain Batek”, “Baju sulam” "kain pelekat" and lots more. High quality, hand made and cheap. Well for the aunties, I think they want to sleep there...Our next trip to..

----> On our way continued the journey to Pusat Dokumentasi Dan Informasi Kebudayaan Minangkabau Padang Panjang....






----> Here, my sister and I mengada2 nak cuba pakaian perkahwinan orang Minang...murah je...gagaga~ around 15 ribu Rupiah...=p

En Nua penat trus tumbang...Our first day start 5 am MAlaysia ---> 6pm Indonesia ....Around 8.00pm Indonesia...kitaorg kena berkumpul balik untuk dinner...

En Nua dah penat sgt la nih...hahaha...we all semua pon penat....so its Tido Time...ZZZZzzzzz.....!!

DAY 2

Haiyok...Last night was amazing...hehe..tido nyenyak..tp dlm kul 3.00a.m tersedar.. sejuk mcm dlm peti ice..then pg2 buta baru we all perasan mlm smlm tido lampu terbuka...hahhaha....nmpk sgt smua org lupa tutup lampu trus sbb baring2 tertido....Around 7 am, we get ready for breakfast...

Located 930 meters above sea level, Bukittinggi, formerly named Fort De Cock by the Dutch, has a cool climate and is surrounded by three volcanoes: Tandikat, Singgalang and Merapi. In the outskirts of Ngarai Sianok town, a canyon that separate Bukittinggi from Gadang City, 12 km away overland. Gadang City is renowned for its fine silver filigree and hand embroidery.
---> After having breakfast our next trip was to Ngarai Sianok...Going up hill and going down hill again to Bukit Tinggi town. It was a dizzy trip...

about 40 km from Bukittinggi, Indonesia, is one most beautiful spots in west Sumatra. The path to the Lake is impressive in itself, with 44 hairpin bends that afford spectacular views over the lake.

Kota Gadang, lying about eight kilometers from Bukittinggi, Indonesia, is famous for it crafts, such as silwerware, and shawls.

Then we stopped by at the Jam Gadang & Pasar Atas.....The heart of the highlands, Bukittinggi is a two-hours drives through beautiful of Anai valley countryside and up to the Agam Plateau. A center of attraction is the town's clock tower, topped with a horn- shaped roof and referred to by the people as Jam Gadang. It overlooks the market square and the city's magnificent surroundings.

It was a great day of full scenenary and shopping trip...what an amazing days for us....

DAY 3
On day 3....after having breakfast....we went to Sulaman HjJ Rosmah...tempat baju2 disulam....its a popular boutique kat sana....rambang mata tgk semua baju kebaya...huhu~



















Next...we were going to 'Kolam ikan sakti' ....mcm ala2 cerita dongeng....huhu

---> *Lobang Jepang* patut nye mjadi our next destination...tp nak maghrib dah...so tourist guide kata elok la balik hotel...takut dinner nati xsempat...so trus balik hotel.... kitaorg xsempat g sini dah petang...so lalu je...

Before otw balik hotel...bus ada stop kat Jam Gadang & PAsar Atas...SApe2 nak trun boleh...ada separuh balik hotel trus...so...Nua kata jom trun habis kan duit..gaga~ tourist guide turunkan separuh or yg nk jalan2 kat pasar ats...my family semua balik hotel...tp nua ajak stay kat pasar tu jln2 dulu....dia belanja a few things for me...sweet of him...=) he's bought me
* a cool t-shirt...
* couple rings ----> ada tulis "Nua & Lin" for each one of us
* couple rantai ---> his wear rantaii that had wrote my name...and i wear rantai nama dia...COOL....thanks syg......

Lepas tu..balik ke hotel.....bila balik...kena balik sendiri ke hotel...Nua nak sgt naik keta kuda...so sy pon amat teruja..hihi....romantic rase...

---> After having dinner...aktivity bebas...coz ni last nite kat sini....so my mom n my sibling decide jln2.....dorang bli barang lama sgt...adoi...so...nua ajak jln2 jap kat area2 situ...that nite ada band main music tepi jln sambil nyanyi...impress gak la dorang nye 'persembahan'...tepi jln je kot...kitaorg tepacak kat situ lama...heee.....baru sedar dah lwt mlm...so kena balik hotel..... mlm terakhir mcm sweet moment...jln2 ngan dia...:)




---> Balik hotel..haiyok...tgk my mom n sis duduk luar pntu...i tnye napa xmsuk..HEHEHE kunci hotel kat kitaorg mcm ne dorang nk masuk...cian dorang...sorry ye...heee...

Airport....its time utk balik KL....=)








Really2 sweet moment for all of us... =)
