A love letter to my mum

My Mom-----> Shaliha A Wahab

She was God's gift to me. From her, I learned everything that I needed to learn in order to survive in this challenging world.She taught me the real meaning of love (outside of emotions) and forgiveness and patience.She was a mother who took care of all our needs.She was a friend who took time to listen whether I had a happy story to tell or otherwise.She was my teacher : teaching me the what's and what's not of this world and I can give her a ring whenever I need someone to talk to.I can only thank God for my mom because without her, I would not have been brought into this world and enjoy the life I am enjoying now.She never once raised her voice at me or disciplined me in anger. Even when I deserved it.It seems like she's can do most anything she's the master of every task.

My mom is typical mom who would wake up early in the morning to prepare breakfast for us.She's loves big family dinners & I can never resist Mom’s cooking.(Note 1)She's a dependable source of comfort,she's my cushion when I fall.She help in times of trouble and support me whenever I call.And even when I'm down and sad,she'll pick me up and push me through.Never too busy to understand to love me, and to push all other things aside,so that my needs won't be denied.Mom, no one can compare to you,without your love, what would I do? I need you more than anyone,I want to be just like you, Mom.Tq mak u has always been 100%, completely encouraging of me in everything I do. u has always told me that so long as I did my best at everything, that’d be enough for u.And, for u, my best has been enough; regardless of how it measures up in comparison with others.(Note 2)

I love you more than you know, you have my total respect.If I had my choice of mothers you'd be the one I'd select!.My mom so gentle, yet so strong.The many ways she's show you care always make me feel I belong.She's patient when I'm foolish and will give guidance when I ask.I love her 'cause she's always there,to help me up when Life's not fair,I love her 'cause she's always there and to be my friend, to always care and hear my love story (doesn't matter it is a sweet or sad love story)To tell me, "No," when it's not right and to say, "Don't let the bed bugs bite." I remember telling her about the guys I meet and the guys that interests me..she will not say "NO" right to your face, but she's always tell you to think about things...give it time...learn to know the person..She's carefully make her point to me about dont choose a guy base on their look and because of money.(Note 3,4,5)

Note 1:Ada certain things cara dia wat kn hati ni tersentuh.Tq mak sbb setiap pg sebelum org g keja, mak wat kn breakfast, sedia kn bekal utk org bwk g keja, n nescafe segelas. So sweet of u bila mak xlupa letak ice cube sekali.Tq mak sbb setiap kali lin balik keja, lin dah tau soalan pertama mak ape...."Lin, dah mkn? or Lin nk mkn?" =) n then mak hidang mknn...

Note2: I can see in your eyes that u proud of me because 4 kali lin dpt DL even u said that its ok for me x dpt DL, just lulus pon xpe.

Note3: There was a moment that i always remember,memang slalu mak jaga n risau kalau lin sakit (masa athma or period pain).Mak mmg akan bngun mlm2 bg ubat..tp paling lin ingat ada satu hari tu..kul 3-4 pagi..mak bangun sbb dgr org vomit teruk. Mak bangun bg ubat n bg air...mak duduk sebelah urut2 lin. Mak kejut abah minta anta org g klinik.I still remember your face at that time, it shows how much u worried about me. Only u know nape lin jd mcm tu, sbb heartbreak.3month like a hell for me but u're there always b by myside until my wound healed.

Note 4: one more things,Tq for giving me RM100 everyweek, eventhough mak suri rumah sepenuh masa, mak ttp bg duit bg "allowance" for me.Bukan sbb jumlah duit tu or sbb duit tu made me wanna say thanks, it just im notice that mak bg bcoz mak nk lin ada life utk kuar hang out ngan kwn2, bli baju yg lin minat, mkn kat luar ngan kwn2 g tgk movie, etc. It shows how much u wanna see me happy.

Note 5:U were not only a great mother, but also a wonderful wife.I see many sweet things u do for abah.Since i was a kid, i made a wish i when i grow up n get married, i want to do the same thing for my husband, want to treat him just like the way u treat abah...

I am grateful for every minute I have spent with her & she is still alive so that i grow up with her true & eternity love. I love you Mama. You are the best in my heart.
